Code of Practice

  • We take the professional accreditation of the Reebok Sports Club and our fitness instructors very seriously. The club is a member of the Fitness Industry Association (FIA) and adheres to its Code of Practice.

Fitness Industry Association (FIA)

The Reebok Sports Club is a member of the Fitness Industry Association (FIA) and adheres to its Code of Practice. The FIA Code of Practice ensures that health and fitness operators maintain a basic level of standards, to ensure the safety and well-being of their customers.

The Reebok Sports Club was the first club in the UK to be audited by the Central YMCA Qualifications, a Government-approved body, and to successfully pass and receive the award.

The FIA was established in 1991. It represents both private and public organisations involved in the fitness industry. The mission of the FIA is to promote a healthier and more physically active nation, by raising standards within the health and fitness industry. The FIA also works closely with the Government to pursue its aim for a healthier UK.

Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs)

Each member of the Reebok Sports Club fitness team is fully qualified and registered with REPs, a regulating body for high standards within the fitness industry. For further information please visit www.exerciseregister.org.
