The club has taken on a new dietitian to offer members free advice on nutrition & health. Marlene Ellmer will be available:

SKI FITNESS
The Reebok Fitness Team are pleased to offer mini group training sessions to get you in shape for the slopes this winter. Whether you are an experienced skiier or a beginner these instructor led sessions will be just what you need to get you going for the rest of the ski season.

METABOLIC PROFILING

FREE FITNESS TESTS
A great way to monitor your progress and keep motivated is to have a fitness test. Test can include; Blood-pressure checks, Body fat and composition analysis, Lung capacity, VO2 testing, Flexibility, Height and weight.

The 10,000 square foot cardiovascular floor is stocked with 170 pieces of the most advanced computerised cardiovascular equipment including Reebok, Life Fitness, Precor, Stair Master and Concept II.

Individual plasma screens are attached to the equipment to enhance and add an audio and visual experience as you exercise.
Cardiovascular activity helps strengthen the heart and lungs and assists weight management.

There's a 17,000 square foot, fully-equipped strength training floor featuring all the equipment you could wish for from notable companies such as Hammer Strength, Magnum, Iron Grip, Reebok and Free Motion.

The Club's free weight selection is extensive and there is a wide choice of plate loaded Hammer Strength equipment.
Resistance training helps strengthen and tone muscles, improve posture and bone density and burn calories.

The club has two Powerplates to it's already extensive portfolio of equiptment. Members have unlimited FREE use of these plus all the advice and help they need. Powerplate is the market leader in the vibration training field and scientific research has shown that after using the Powerplate for even a short period of time both strength and flexibility increase, and metabolism and circulation are greatly improved. The body has to subconsciously contract a variety of different muscles in order to stay balanced during the vibrations created by the Powerplate and it’s this constant muscle tensioning that makes the Powerplate so effective. At the start of your membership you are offered a thorough induction with a fitness coach designed to develop an enjoyable, manageable programme. The coach will also ensure that you are using the machines safely to obtain maximum benefit and go through a brief health screen questionnaire. You can take advantage of a range of fitness tests offered at Reebok such as blood pressure check, body fat analysis, lung capacity and postural analysis.

As part of your programme the fitness coaches are also able to give you general nutritional advice. This of course goes hand in hand with an exercise programme, whatever your goals may be. It is important to eat the right foods for your exercise regime and also for general well being or weight loss. By doing this your health and fitness programme will become easier and your goals more readily achieved, so again take advantage of the coaches advice and if you need further, more detailed advice, we can put you in touch with the right people.
