Body Composition Testing

Bio-electrical impedance analysis is used to determine; % body fat, % lean tissue, BMI, hydration levels & BMR.

Cholesterol & Glucose Testing

Fasting and non-fasting cholesterol & glucose testing is available, with one to one coaching from a trained healthcare advisor.

Metabolic Profiling

A graded exercise test complete with a 12 lead Electrocardiogram. During the treadmill or bike test in our lab, a gas analysis profile will allow Healthcare Advisors to prescribe you with precise heart rates for you to work between. These intensities will induce a maximal increase in your cardiovascular efficiency, and therefore improve your performance. After your test you will be given a comprehensive set of results which will allow your fitness trainer to tailor your exercise program to your individual requirements using specific training heart rates.

Cancer Screens

Bowel Cancer; 1 in 20 people in the UK will develop bowel cancer during their lifetime, call into the Wellness Centre to pick up your take home self test pack.

Prostate Cancer; one of the most common cancer’s in men, taken via a blood test, results will be back to you within 48 hours with a clear decision whether further testing is needed.

Skin Cancer Screening; Wellness International has formed a partnership with Melanomamobil who are based in Harley Street, London to provide a professional skin cancer screening service at the Wellness Centre every month. For more information please visit www.melanomamobil.co.uk.

  MelanomaMobil - www.melanomamobil.co.uk

  MelanomaMobil is an international skin cancer, mole check and melanoma screening clinic based in Canary Wharf and London's Harley Street, founded in 2005.

  The service is based on a unique mole-mapping technology where each and every mole is recorded and assessed by two independent specialists.

  During the follow-up consultations every mole is compared to its previous state in our evaluation centre, here we can judge the biological behaviour of each mole and detect changes that might reveal potential malignant transformations invisible to the naked eye.

  In 2011 we completed over 31,000 screenings, detected more than 150 cases of early stage melanomas and more than 500 cases of skin cancer.

  We can also offer general dermatology consultations for a range of skin conditions.

  Melanomamobil has formed a partnership with Wellness International, enabling us to run clinic's every month in the Wellness Centre.
